Stamos endured a rather disturbing flight from Chicago to Los Angeles. According to a source Stamos was trying to enjoy a little cat nap in first class when a woman who has not been identified tried to get the actor’s attention by shaking him. He politely told the woman that he just wanted to sleep, but she continued to bother him. When Stamos got up to use the restroom, the woman told him she would save his seat. When he returned to his seat the woman refused to get out of it despite the pleas of the flight attendant. The woman reportedly became agitated when Stamos tried to ignore her and kept tapping him on the hand.
The FBI responded to reports of an in-flight disturbance and was waiting with the local police when the flight landed. The FBI did confirm that they responded to the report of a "verbal altercation," but left the scene after taking statements from the parties involved because Stamos declined to press charges against the woman. No arrests were made.
It has been reported that the woman was in Chicago with her children who had filmed a few scenes for an upcoming episode of ER. Stamos has starred as Dr. Tony Gates on the hit show for the past few years. Stamos got his start on the soap opera General Hospital playing heartthrob, Blackie. He also starred on the hit series Full House as Uncle Jesse. Stamos also starred in the short-lived sitcom Jake in Progress as the title character. His career also boasts numerous guest appearances and television movies.
