Jessica Alba Engaged

Alba’s rep, Brad Cafarelli, said, "I can confirm that they are engaged." Alba, 26, sparked the rumor mill after she was spotted over the Christmas break sporting a diamond on her left ring finger. Earlier this month Alba confirmed that she is expecting her first child with Warren, 28, sometime next year.

The couple met on the set of The Fantastic Four in the fall of 2004. He was working on the set as a director’s assistant and they quickly hit it off. In July it was reported that Alba had called it quits with Warren. It was initially reported that she kicked Warren out of her house and told him she wasn’t in love with him anymore but it was later reported that she wanted to move forward with their relationship and he did not. A source said, "She wanted to get married, but Cash wasn’t ready." Just two months later it was reported that the couple had reconciled. It was around that time that they conceived a child and a source said it was a planned pregnancy. Guess maybe the split made him realize that maybe he is ready to move forward with the relationship.

No wedding date has been announced, but a source said that it probably won’t happen until after the baby arrives. A source close to Alba said, "She doesn’t want to be pregnant in a dress!" Alba will reportedly be taking some time off for her pregnancy and upcoming nuptials. She has recently filmed several movies including the comedy The Love Guru and the horror flick The Eye. She will also star in the Sin City sequel.
