Jennifer Lopez’s Double Delivery

Lopez’s manager confirmed that she gave birth to the twins early Friday morning in Long Island, N.Y. The girl was born at 12:12 a.m. and weighed in at 5 pounds 7 ounces. The boy made his debut 11 minutes later and weighed 6 pounds. No other details have been released. Simon Fields, Lopez’s rep, said, "Jennifer and Marc are delighted, thrilled and over the moon." It has been rumored that Lopez struck a deal to sell the first pictures of her children for a whopping $6 million.

Lopez, 38, and Anthony, 39, kept the pregnancy during the early stages. She successfully dodged the pregnancy questions during interviews and finally announced the news to a crowd at a concert in Miami on November 8. She said, "Marc and I are expecting a baby!" She later said in an interview, "I kind of feel like everybody knew anyway. I was on tour with a bubble gut!" Lopez’s father confirmed the twin rumors during an interview earlier this month and the couple celebrated with a baby shower in New York on January 19.

Lopez and Anthony were married in a surprise ceremony in June 2004. The marriage was Lopez’s third and Anthony’s second. He has a daughter, Arianna, from a previous relationship and two sons, Cristian and Ryan, from his marriage to Dayanara Torres. The twins are Lopez’s first children and she is reportedly going to take some much needed time off to enjoy life as a mother.
