Reps Stephen Huvane and John Pisani said in a statement, "After Jennifer’s trip to London several weeks ago, Jennifer and Vince mutually agreed to end their relationship but continue to be good friends today." The two have been battling break-up rumors for some time now. They have been separated for work with Vaughn filming the new Christmas comedy Fred Claus in London and Aniston working in Los Angeles and New York.

Aniston and Vaughn first began dating in the summer of 2005 while filming their movie The Break-Up. Aniston had just split from hubby Brad Pitt and many thought Vaughn was just a rebound fling. The romance rumors started to fly even though both Aniston and Vaughn played down their relationship. Aniston said in an interview at the time, "I adore Vince Vaughn, but I’m not going out with Vince Vaughn." He called her "awesome" and said, "(Jen’s) been great and we’ve been having a great time shooting the movie. But that’s really the extent of it."

The couple tried to keep their relationship out of the media as much as possible, but were photographed all over the place looking more than friendly. In April there were rumors that the two were engaged and were set to wed in an $8 million wedding being held by Oprah Winfrey. Aniston and Vaughn both denied the engagement rumors, and even joked about them with Winfrey herself. Aniston called into Oprah’s show and said, "(The rumors) are so unbelievable. It sounds like you’re giving me Santa Barbara." She added, "No wedding, no moves, no, no." Vaughn told Winfrey a few weeks later that he was "expecting a pretty good band for $8 million." Guess he won’t have to worry about that now!
