Jennifer Aniston Still Friendly with Brangelina, Despite Rumors

Despite swirling rumors about raging jealousy and hard feelings, Jennifer Aniston tells GQ that she still speaks to Brad from time to time and that she questions tabloid reports about the Brangelina timeline.
Apparently, Jennifer Aniston isn't the jilted ex-wife that everyone seems to want her to be. Rather, she seems to be pretty content with where she is in life and said that she is still on amicable terms with Brad Pitt - when occasions arise for appropriate contact. She also addressed the recent rumors that Brad and Angelina fell in love while Aniston and Pitt were still married, on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith.

She was able to take a not-so-subtle jab at the tabloid reporting that has been dogging her for years by questioning the source of the Brangelina relationship time line. Attempting to discredit such reports may be like spitting in the wind, but if she's able to gain any traction, it will only serve to lessen the impact of such trash journalism. Wait. That's ridiculous.

I meant to say that it doesn't matter how ridiculous any celebrity gossip becomes, people are going to eat it up in massive quantities. What's going to sell more tabloid - "Brad and Angie Admit Having Sex while He was Still Married to Jen" - or "Jennifer Aniston Still Friendly with Brangelina, Despite Rumors"?

Anyway, Aniston also answered some questions about John Mayer, saying that he was a great musician and that the two of them were just trying to "figure things out". She's not pregnant and is not engaged - as of the GQ article, at least. Of course, all of this has to be taken in the context of the cover of the upcoming issue of GQ, which is maybe the most provocative picture of Aniston to hit the mainstream media. She definitely seems comfortable in her own skin.
