Simpson, 27, and Mayer, 29, reportedly dated on-and-off for almost a year before finally calling it quits a few months ago. A source close to Simpson said that the singer isn’t over Mayer. The source said "she thinks about him all the time." The source added, "She is so not over him." The source also said that Simpson is "really jealous" over the relationship and said, "She had her mouth open a mile wide when she found out. She just freaked."

Diaz, 34, and Mayer have been friendly for a few years now but recently their friendship developed into something a bit more romantic. They were first spotted getting cozy in New York City. They have been spotted together all through the summer looking more than friendly. It was reported that they were seen at the NYC hot spot Socialista on the night of August 24. According to an onlooker they "were very cozy" and left through separate exits around 4 a.m.

Diaz was romantically linked to magician Criss Angel before she reportedly began seeing Mayer. Prior to that she dated singer Justin Timberlake for almost four-years before they ended things in January. Mayer was linked to Simpson for almost a year after she split from hubby Nick Lachey. Neither Diaz nor Mayer’s reps have commented on the status of their relationship, but a source close to the couple reportedly said "they’re happy." Simpson has reportedly not been seeing anyone since she and Mayer split...but maybe it is time that she moved on.
