Jazz and Rain in the Square Chap 3

Chapter 3

"What kind of music do you like?" Lizzie asked
"As far as what?" Sicily asked Lizzie who was in the driver seat of a sky blue Escalade
"Green day, Panic! At the disco, Fall Out Boy, The Killers"
"Oh yea I like a lot of bands…actually I listen to anything except country and heavy metal"
"Why no country?"
"I just don’t get. All they sing about is heart break."
"And Green day doesn’t?"
"They do but they sing about love conquering all also like there song 21 guns" Sicily said as she turned around to see if Melody was awake
"Oh ok" Lizzie said and pulled in to a parking spot n front of a huge building "Here we are the Mall"
"It’s so big"

"Yea…first where going get our nails done then our hair then we’ll shop" Lizzie said showing a toothy grin. Sicily sighed and could tell she was in for a long day and it was only 8 o clock. By noon Sicily had learned a lot about American culture but still didn’t fully understand it. By noon the girls had gotten their nails and hair done. Lizzie hair was cut in to lairs and she got dark brown highlights, Melody’s hair was curled , and Sicily’s hair was straight and she had her ends cut. The girls each got a different nail colors Lizzie’s was a French manicure. Melody’s was hot pick and lime green, and Sicily’s was Black with green zebra stripes.

Melody tugged on Sicily’s shirt and signed that she was hungry. "Lizzie can we ate Melody and I are hungry" Sicily said as she picked Melody up. "Sure" Lizzie said as the trio entered the food court "There’s everything here you and Melody can choose what you want to eat and I’ll find us a table" Lizzie said and went to find a table. Sicily sat Melody down then asked her what she wanted to eat. Melody pointed to McDonalds Sicily nodded then walked over to the McDonalds and held Melody up to the counter so she could point to what she wanted. Sicily order Melody’s lunch then walked her over to the table where Lizzie was.

"You go order your food and then I will go order mine" Lizzie sad and then helped Sicily fix her food. Sicily smiled then walked over to a salad and sandwich café and ordered a chicken Cesar salad then went back to Lizzie and Melody. The rest of the day was spent shopping for everything from lingerie to shoes and t-shirts and more. In Sicily’s opinion Lizzie was on of those girls that liked to shop until her trunk was full which was a lot she had a huge trunk Sicily said bye to Lizzie as she gathered her many shopping bags from the trunk then went inside her new home. Dorian had willingly helped her carry her bags in
"God what did you guys do shop until the trunk was full?" Dorian asked as he hand both hands full of bags as did Sicily as the two climbed the stairs to the 3rd floor
"Pretty much" Sicily said as she opened her room door and set her many bags on and around her desk. "Thanks for the help Dorian" Sicily said as she pulled her hair in to a lose bun.

"No Problem. I’ll see you in the morning" Dorian said and shut Sicily’s door. Sicily showered and then climbed in to bed to tired to write or even look for her sand like she was suppose to. That night Sicily had a sweet dream she didn’t want to wake up from she dreamed she was back in St. Luca with Tiffany and all her friends
((2 months later mid October school is in))
"Sicily!! Sicily!!" Lizzie screamed running to Sicily who was at her locker putting her books away and getting her U.S. History book
"Lizzie!! Lizzie!!"
"So who’s asked you out?"
"For what? Sicily said and shut her locker
"The big masquerade Halloween ball" Lizzie said and waved a piece of Orange paper in front of Sicily’s face

"Oh well actually no one has asked me" Sicily said as she and Lizzie started to walk to their history class "I don’t even think I’ll go"
"Not GO!!" Lizzie whined in to Sicily’s ear "You have to go"
"Hey ladies" Marcus said and walked up to the girls"Sicily can I talk to you? I wanted to know if you where going to the Ball? And if you are if you had a date yet" Marcus said blushing a bit.

"Well actually-"Sicily started to say but was cut off by Lizzie
"She doesn’t have a date yet and would love to be you date" Lizzie said and smiled at Marcus
"Cool. I’ll call you later Sicily" Marcus said and walked off to his class. Sicily turned to Lizzie and glared at her evilly
"I hate you sometimes"
"But in the end you still love me" Lizzie said as she and Sicily enter their class.
