Janey Smith - Ch 1

Ugh! "Cynthia! You look Fab!" my 'best friend' says. Backstabber! I get my books and head to class. I set my books down and get my pencil bag. "Is this seat taken Janey?" a guy asks. I look up and see Kyle He's soo cute!! "Uh, no." I say. I go back to my pencil bag. "Cool, so um, nice books." he says. I smile. "Uh, you too." He has the same book, but, I don't care. "So. Everyone loves Cynthia." he says. "Yeah?"
"Well, don't you think she's cool?" he asks curiously. "Um, I don't think so." He smiles and says good.

"Look!" I turn my head. What? "Kyle. Nothing's there." I look at Kyle who is gulping water. He looks kinda pale. "Kyle? Are you ok?" I ask concerned. "What? Yeah." He looks at me and smiles. "You sure? You look pale." I touch his forehead. It's burning! "Kyle! You're burning up!" I say. "I'm fine Janey." Kyle says. "No. You are not. May I take him home???" I ask the teacher. "Yeah." She hands up a note and we go to the main office. "Um, here." I give the note to the secretary. She reads it and nods her head. We leave the school office and walk to my car. Kyle and I get in and I give him a blanket. I He takes the blanket and covers up. "Thanks Janey you are the best." I smile and start up my car.
