Jackie: The Detective - Chapters 1 and 2
A confusing but intriguing detective fiction. Sorry for such the lame name couldn't think of anything else.
Chapter 1
Jackie picks herself off the floor breathing unevenly with her dark red vibrant hair stuck to her sweaty face, after being hit round the head with a fire extinguisher. She feels dizzy and disoriented as she stumble to the wall for support. Why did she always get into these messes during cases it was discouraging?
As she leans against the wall try to remember what happened, someone walks through the heavy metal doors at a slow walk, they had obviously been the one who knocked Jackie out. "Oh Jackie what happened to you? Did finally get what you deserve! Ha, ha." Shouted Sandy to Jackie's suspect.
Sandy’s blonde messy hair was swaying as she walked closer and closer towards Jackie. "You’ve been sneaking round my apartment looking for clues to prove. I’ve kidnapped your cousin, but there is none. Is there? I’ve got rid of it all!" She shouted again.
As Jackie slowly moved her hand towards the back of her head where Sandy hit her with the fire extinguisher to see what the damage was but instead of finding a big bump she found blood dripping from where it was throbbing, "There were clues Sandy, lots of clues, it’s so obvious that you’ve kidnapped him but why is the question!" She said a little above a whisper not being able to make her voice any louder.
Bang, the heavy metal doors swung open again as if they were as light as feathers this time though, Sheriff Malone ran through the open doors with several armed officers jogging behind. "Jackie, Jackie Summers. You called and said that you knew who the kidnapper was...."
Sheriff Malone shouted but left in mid sentence after seeing Jackie with blood dripping through her already vibrant red hair and down her neck. "I guess, it was Sandy Fielder then," said one of the armed officers acting a bit dumb but before anyone could reply him, Sheriff Malone started reading Sandy’s rights. "Ms Sandy Fielder your under arrest for the kidnapping of Thomas McDowell and for the assaulting of Jackie Summers, you do not have to say anything but what you may say could be held against you in evidence."
As he was saying this one of the officers cuffed her and started walking her out the building when he had finished.
Sheriff Malone rushed to Jackie’s side after she slid down the wall to sit on the floor against the wall, kneeling down next to her he said "Okay, Jackie got one of me’ officers to call for an ambulance for you...." but before he finish Jackie interrupted, "No I can’t we need to find Tommy first...." But before she could finish her sentence with her weak whisper of a voice, she slumped sideways unconscious almost dead to the world, no one could wake her up. All they could do is wait for the ambulance see what they say.

Chapter 2
Two days later, Jackie woke up in a warm and cozy hospital bed feeling disoriented, shaky, confused, dizzy, delicate and blurry eyed, trying to get up her Uncle Charlie pushes her gently back down. "No Jackie, you need to rest, you’ve had a big bump on the head and large amount of blood lost."
"But have they found Tommy," Jackie managed to whisper.
"Yes, Maggie is so relived but she said there was no need for you to get hurt whilst trying to get back Tommy." Replied Jackie’s Auntie Angie, "So there’s no need to worry anymore, you can just lie back and rest," said Uncle Charlie.
After a little while, he called for the doctor and said, "Hello Dr Creek, Jackie my niece she still isn’t her usual self, could you just do a check up on her. Please, my wife and I are worried about her. She’s usual so colorful and chatty."
So the doctor agreed and checked Jackie over there seemed to be something wrong but she didn’t know what, "Well Mr Summers, there’s something more than concussion wrong with your niece but I’m not sure what," replied the doctor in a worried tone.
Dr Creek left to talk to another doctor about Jackie’s examination when she arrived back at Jackie’s bedside, she brought an older and more experienced doctor in. His name was Dr Carta, he examined Jackie again and said, "Mr and Mrs Summers, all that’s wrong with your niece is very severe concussion which will mean that you’ll need to inform the police and comment on how bad this little girl's concussion is and if they don’t believe you tell them to call me Dr Simon Carta. Hope you feel better soon and that you’re up and about in no time."
Dr Carta walked back the way he came towards the bed. "Well that’s good isn’t it Jackie, you can come home soon..." But before Uncle Charlie could finish his sentence Dr Creek interrupted, "Well, Mr Summers, your niece will have to stay in hospital till she stops feeling dizzy, disoriented and worn out and when she can stand on her own two feet with no support and can see things without them being blurred. So I’m sorry but that could be a day to at the most two weeks. So you might be better not to get her hopes up."
Looking a bit nervous about what she said, "Oh okay, well then Jackie, do you want me to go home and get your pictures of your parents to put on the bedside table and some clean clothes?" Said Auntie Angie looking at Jackie in an almost dazed look
"No, I want to go home, please Uncle Charlie, I don’t like it here." Replied Jackie "Please, I can stay in bed till I get better, please," she looks at her Uncle and clapped her hands together to show she was begging.
"Excuse me, Dr Creek," he said as she walked past, "Where can I discharge my niece. I know you’ve advised me to leave her in here but she herself would rather be at home and we live four houses down from a doctors surgery. So if anything happens we can go there." He looks at the doctor with her light blonde hair in a tight ponytail.
"The check out point is over there, where the junior nurse in pink with the green dyed hair is, well Mr Summers, here is my number so call me if she gets any worse. Please, thank you." Replied Dr Creek.
"Thank you, very much Doctor," he walked over to the desk and checked Jackie out.
