Steve-O, real name Stephen Glover, was reportedly hospitalized at Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in the psych ward last Sunday. The L.A. County District Attorney also reportedly charged him with a felony possession of cocaine on Thursday. The drug charges stem from his arrest on March 3 following an altercation with a neighbor. A source close to Glover claims that he is in the hospital due to his "reckless lifestyle." The friend said Glover "is not suicidal" and slammed the reports that he was on a suicide watch calling them "totally false."
Glover, 33, was arrested on March 3 at 5 a.m. on charges of vandalism when he reportedly poked holes in his neighbor’s wall and beat on his door with a metal rod. When police arrived on the scene they reportedly found drugs in Glover’s apartment and that he had an outstanding traffic warrant. He was booked at a Hollywood police station until he was released the following afternoon. His rep has remained mum on Glover’s arrest, hospitalization, and drug charges.
Glover is best known for starring opposite the likes of Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, and Jason "Wee Man" Acuna in the MTV show Jackass. He also appeared in the two Jackass movies. He has made a career out of his crazy behavior such as swallowing live goldfish, setting himself on fire, and letting people throw darts at him. He has also appeared on shows such as L.A. Ink, Bam’s Unholy Union and Nick Cannon Presents: Wild N’ Out. Glover briefly dated Nicole Richie in 2006.
