J. Lo and Anthony Fly to Puerto Rico amidst Divorce Rumors

Rumors have been circulating for some time that Jennifer Lopez and singer husband Marc Anthony will divorce, though the couple has denied the rumors. According to a friend of the couple, "Marc and Jennifer are planning on announcing their divorce right after Marc’s show at Madison Square Garden on February 14. Jennifer is planning on joining Marc onstage for a surprise duet. Things haven’t been right for a while now, and they thought it would be a bittersweet farewell." One must question that word of a "friend" who not only gave away the couple’s plans to divorce (if they’re true), but also the "surprise" appearance that J. Lo will make with Anthony.

Despite that, J. Lo was seen at the premier of "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" recently, without Anthony or her eight-carat diamond wedding ring, giving further merit to the rumors. But despite all those rumors, the couple is spending a few days together in San Juan, Puerto Rico. A few days ago, the two were spotted in Marmalade, a trendy restaurant in an upscale section of San Juan, where they apparently were enjoying each others’ company quite a bit.

The general manager of the restaurant, Trace Donaldson, told reporters, "Jennifer and Marc looked very happy, so it is hard for me to believe the rumors that their marriage is in trouble. They were laughing and seemed to be having a great time." A representative for the couple went one step further, noting that "there is no merit to the article [about their divorce]."
