"Sure why not. Oh also I want you to meet my best friend Jacky" He smiled and waved at her.
"Jacky this is Johnny the one I've been telling you about" I gave her a look.
Jacky smiled at him "Oh hi Johnny! Glad to meet you"
"Well it is nice to meet one of Ellie's friends" he looked over at me.
"So Johnny it is okay if I invited Jacky to go with us, if you don't mind?" I said.
"Yup not at all it is fine with me. So I'll just pick you up after school then?"
"Yeah Jacky and I will meet up with you in front of school"
"Okay later then. Bye" waved at both of us
"Bye John!" Jacky said
I look over and waved "Um...bye"
"Jacky I noticed you were all over him, smiled and flirting with him too"
"I'm so not!" she denied.
"You sure about that?" I asked
"Ellie, whatever okay" avoiding my question. Bell ring, we both went to class before get detention from Ms. Malonek again my chemistry teacher, you can say that she's the worst teacher ever. One time I got detention just late for one time which is unreasonable before class started I ask her for permission to use the restroom after I came back, after school she gave me a detention slip said I didn't get permission from her, I was pissed off. Anyway just forget about it so back to Nathan, now he is actually popular around school, people think Nathan is nice, friendly to hang out with, and a cool friend which is true he do get along with everyone pretty well in one day. For his "girlfriend" she doesn't even care all she about is Nathan this, and Nathan that...thinking about it gave me a chill already. She always talk about him nonstop, once you stop what you doing she will bring him up talks about different things about him. Whenever she talks about him makes me feel envy and don't want to hear it at all I mean I like him, and I've known him ever since 6 years old. She thought she knows him better than I do which she never does.
Finally school has end, I call up Jacky to meet her in front of school. Right after I call Jacky, Johnny called me right away he told me that he'll be here in a minute need to get his car. So while I just waiting for him and Jacky I saw Nathan was walking home with his girlfriend...I don't really want to look at it, so I just pretend not to look or see.
Then Jenny saw me...
"Ellie!! Hey what you doing here? Are you waiting for someone?" she asked while leaning against Nathan.
"Yeah just waiting for Jacky and my other friend to pick us up" I answered.
"Where are you going?"
"We just thinking of going to the mall, I guess"
"That sounds fun...can we" Jacky arrived.
"El!" Jacky yelled out. *Beep* *Beep* Everyone look over.
"Is that Johnny?" Nathan asked
"Yeah he's the one going to hang out with me and Jacky today. See you guys tomorrow then. Let's go Jacky, he's waiting for us."
"Bye!" Jacky waved to Nathan and Jenny.
Johnny waited for us on the other side of the street. Jacky and I ran across the street, some of the driver honk at us but we didn't really care.
We both got in the car.
"Was that Nathan and his girlfriend?" Johnny said.
"Yeah" Jacky answered.
"I think they both are great couple" Johnny while looking over at Nathan and Jenny.
"yeah they do, don't they" I said with a low voice, I felt that my heart scattered into pieces, and the pain in my chest.
We arrived at the mall Jacky wanted to go to her favorite store, me and Johnny just follow along with her. I wanted to get my mind clear up not thinking about Nathan anymore. While Jacky was just looking for her clothes, I just look at other stuff around. Suddenly Johnny ask me "You want to tell me what's wrong?"
I look at him and avoid eyes contact "Nothing is wrong John"
He sighed. "Ellie I know something is bothering you, I can tell from the way you act and don't try to hide because I know something is wrong"
"so why not just tell me you'll feel easier than just holding it in to yourself"
I decided to tell him, I went over to Jacky told her that Johnny and I will go to food court buy something to eat, after she's done shopping just call me.
We both walk to food court Johnny bought two drink one for me, and one for himself. We both sat down at the table where there is not much people around.
