It's Ok to Be You!
The title and poem really says it all!
Who are you?
Are you true to yourself?
Or do you try,
To be like everyone else?
Growing up is about,
Discovering our unique style,
Not about following the crowd.
Why try to fit in?
Why not be yourself?
Because you're scared of being teased,
And laughed at.
We all want to be liked,
We want to make the best,
But does that mean following the rest?
It's ok to be different,
It's ok to be something new,
It's ok because we're all human,
It's ok to be you!
