It Worked
This is the continuation of The First Day Of The Beginning Of The Rest Of Your Life.
You know the vow I made? Well it worked. I told myself that I wouldn't chase after them anymore, that if they wanted to talk to me they would initiate the conversation themselves. Today I went to school, saying to myself I know it's gonna be hard, but I can do it. As I went into all my classes, I with all my might resisted the urge to go up to each one of them, and force them to give me a high five. I was about to give up, by the time lunch came around. No one had come around to even say hi, and I couldn't go after them. So I found a way to go around my vow. All I had to do was find something to talk about, yesterday I showed the boys a song by the famous Rodney Carrington. The plan was set, All I had to do was go up to them and ask whether they liked the song. Hook, Line, Sinker. Then the day really heated up. I was in my 4th period and I saw him listening to my conversations.
And not just listening cause I have nothing to do, he listened and laughed when I made funny comments, and jokes. Then we move to the last class of the day. In choir I started tickling my friend, just to catch his attention, and I guess it worked. After school as I was walking to the bus, one of the quads came up to me and asked me to say my name, cause he liked it. And that's not even the cool part. I asked him why he was talking to me, and he said because were friends. "cue screaming." So of course I gladly told him. Then as I was walking to my bus, there was the "different color of hair a day guy" and he was like "hi ajibad." I know it was wrong, but hey watev. I then walked up to him and asked him why he was talking to me, and I thought he didn't like me, cause he was mimicking me in science, but you know "mimicking is the greatest form of flattery." Then he was like no, that was Kevin, and to top it all off, he even gave me a high five. And that is what you call success. Au revior. Arriverderci. And like Julia always says..........Bon Apetit.
