Island Castaway: White Beach (2)

Continuation of the Crash Landing.
2010/ Dawn

The mask was secured to my face. I held tightly on the armrests on my sides. I closed my eyes and prayed to God that I will survive the crash.

The plane soared up, trying to avoid the thunderous black cloud, it was like in a fighter jets of the army. It is better in luck that the plane is small. Sadly, I saw the engine flared red and caught fire. I tighten my grip even more, a teardrop fell to my cheeks, and I heard a baby cry behind. And before I knew it, we were resting against a typhoon's hand.

The plane began submerging; I quickly grabbed the life-jacket under my seat and wore it. I inflated it after five seconds. The First-Class has been already sunk now. My class was next. The cabin crew had inflated the emergency boats. I helped the others first. When it was my turn, I saw a lady carrying his little child:

"Please, take care of my baby, please." She begged. But the poor thing was wrapped in loincloth.

"No, ma'am. The baby is your own and your responsible for it." I said. I gripped her shoulders, "Please go first."

She nodded and went outside the door. I quickly went to my seat and grabbed a small pouch and stuffed my gadgets and some food. Then I squeezed it to my lifejacket. I hurriedly ran to the door, the boat wasn't there. But a huge wave was coming. I could see little lights from ahead. I jumped no matter what, but can't float or swim. Then the big wave was drawing nearer and nearer. I closed my eyes and went along the wave.

Around Noon

I woke up, with sand in my mouth. I was great I was alive. I screamed "I'M ALIVE!". I was washed to the beach. I had still the pouch with me. Boy it was sure like a dream. White sands, palm trees, it's like a resort! But, I wonder if there were any survivors anywhere. I tried to shout "Hello? Anybody here?" No responses.

The sun was about set, the horizon was getting purple. I knew where I was gonna rest, under the coconut tree. I buried my pouch under sand and left some stone on top of it. I decided to watch the horizon, the sunset is nice. But in my mind I can't remove the scene that the mother and her baby. I closed my eyes and tried to get myself to sleep

Midnight

I woke with the same dream again. It's hard to see, the stars are the only light today. The winds were cold. The sea made soothing sounds that comfort me. My only problem is...

Where's the bathroom?

I had to dump my dump somewhere... I can't take it anymore.... Ugh, Ugh...... Ahhh, success!!!
And next I buried it with sand. Boy, I'm hungry... *stomach*

I only found one coconut and two bananas. This will be a good midnight snack. After I ate, I took some banana leaves to cover myself. Well, I plan to use to cover light for the night animals lurking somewhere. I dug and took the pouch and opened my Kindle. It still has a full battery, so I tried to write down what has happen today. When I was finished, I turned it off and tried to get a connection on my Android phone. I've got a small bar of a connection, and no service.

For two hours I can't get to sleep. I still keep thinking of what happened to the mother and daughter, or to me. The sounds of the wild forest were getting in my nerves. My heart was beating faster in every minute.

Something got closer and closer.....

What do you think?
