Deep Forest

I'm ready and all set to go. Even Spark was excited. I've got my spear, handmade rucksack, several coconuts, fish and bananas and Spark.

I've known now that's he's a he. It was all because.......

Never mind, Second shore, here I come!

The rainforest was a bit, scary at the dawn. You can see eyes out of the trees, some wolves are still howling, and I saw a glowing mushroom! I was fascinated by it.

"Wow! Look Spark, a glowing mushroom!"

"Ha?"

I moved my hands like a mushroom then pointed at the mushroom.

"Koo-ne?"

I nodded.

Then he began to eat it.

His stomach made some sounds then he burped, like a whisper.

I hand signed him, "Are you alright?"

He waved his hand, then began to sleep.

I have to carry him of course.

Using the moon and the stars are quite difficult once the sun rose. So decided to go north. It was like twelve in the afternoon. So I lay Spark on a root of a tree. I opened my rucksack and pulled out a banana. I ate it. After ten minutes I went off again. It was getting dark right now. Spark is still sleeping; I've no idea where to go. So I lay spark on the roots of a tree and I climbed the tree and hung my rucksack on a branch. I climbed down, lied down and hugged Spark.

Then he slapped right in the face. Ouch........

It was just about midnight when Spark woke me up. He indicated that there is danger. Then he climbed up the tree and I followed. He was right, There were wolves down there. They were barking at us. I reached my rucksack and held a coconut. A wolf's howl is weaker than its bark. Did I get it---Oh! Never mind! I took aim and fired, then the worse is about to happen.
