Is the Ab Circle Pro a Scam?
Discover the truth about the Ab Circle Pro. Is it a scam or a good workout machine...
One of the most talked about pieces of fitness equipment is the Ab Circle Pro. I’m sure you’ve seen the infomercial with all those gorgeous guys and girls who workout with this machine.
The claim is very simple, use the Ab Circle for minutes a day and you will see your stomach flatten and tone your hips and butt. But is this true? We all know how infomercials tend to stretch the truth a bit. Can any machine work as well as they promise? And if it doesn’t work as well, does it mean that the Ab Circle Pro is a scam?
When I conducted my extensive research into what people think about this machine I encountered both good reviews and bad. Some people reported good results with this machine. Others had many complaints.
It seems that like many exercise machines the AbCircle is comfortable to use for everyone. For instance, some people reported that the knee pads actually hurt. Others said that they don’t feel the strain in their abs but in their arms which is probably caused by the way you position yourself in the AbCircle.
All these things don’t make the Ab Circle a scam, they just mean that it doesn’t work as well as the infomercial claims, at least not for everybody, but that’s advertisement. You always paint a rosy picture.
The fact is that you can get a solid stomach workout with this machine. It does work the tummy. However, it can’t help you lose belly fat specifically because spot fat reduction is impossible with exercise alone. Our body burns off fat in a different way. When we burn fat we do so from our whole body as a single unit regardless of which body part we workout.
That’s why machines like the Ab Circle Pro work only when they’re used with regular exercise and a healthy and lean diet plan. This usually means that they can be done without. You can probably do stomach exercises on the floor and still achieve similar results.
The question is whether or not you will workout your stomach more just by having this machine in your home. After all, it isn’t cheap at over $200 (including shipping costs and full payments). This is a big decision and only you can make it.
If you feel that you will workout more because you have it in your home then it may be worth it for you. If not, then you can probably find other diet and fitness tools which will help you more.
