Lobsters do not have high levels of mercury, in fact they contain as much mercury as is naturally present in all fish. Therefore, they do not pose a grave danger to health.

Parasites and Virus
Doctors as well as certain people argue that lobsters contain parasites and viruses. But they fail to see the point that all living things contain that. The key is to cook the meat well before eating. Something that should be done anyway when cooking meats. This gets rid of all the bacteria and germs.

Eat Rotting Food
A strong argument against consuming lobster meat is the fact that lobsters eat rotting and decaying foods and it is therefore assumed that lobsters are not healthy for you. This is not true at all.
