Is It So Wrong That I Just Want To Live?

What is wrong with doing what I want?
There should be no reason,
Why I can’t throw myself at him.
I don’t care about the consequences,
And I don’t care about his wife.
I care about me, and my happiness.
Is that so wrong?

Nothing in the world should stop me
From drinking till I puke,
And dancing on a bar at a truck stop.
To hell with rules and limits.
No point living in a diamond cage (still a cage).
Is that so wrong?

If my life is different than yours,
And my life, means something opposite to you,
Then go away, cause I don’t want you in it.
Living for me, is drugs, sex, and money,
And no one can tell me otherwise.
Is that so wrong?

I don’t want to go down like Juliette,
Relinquishing her sanity for love.
I’m sorry if this hurts you,
But my life isn’t over, and yours is.
Let me live mine, the way I want.
Is that so wrong?
