Is He the One or Am I Just Wasting my Time? - Chapter 2
Katie and Kota get closer, and Ashley has some news to share.
I yawned and opened my eyes and noticed him staring at me and a small smile appears on his face. "Good morning sunshine."
"Morning." My stomach starts growling, "Can you bring me some food please?" He gets up and goes to get me some food. I yawn and stretch and walk out and see Kota standing there with my food. I smile and take the food and sit down on a chair. "So what are your plans for today?"
"Well I was thinking of going for a walk then swimming, what about you?"
"Pretty much the same I guess, I should probably go on a walk before everyone wakes up."
"Mind if I join you?"
I get up and start walking. "If you think you can keep up," he starts walking to me and we begin our walk all the way up to the waterfall. Then walk along it until it starts to turn into a big pond. We then take a right and climb up a big hill. At the top of the hill, we can see the bottom of the waterfall and the pond. "This is my favorite view."
Kota looks at me then at the waterfall and smiles, "Not as beautiful as you though."
I laugh, "You’re such a flirt." He sits down, and pulls me down on his lap, wrapping his arms around me. I smile and look up at him then sigh.
"What’s wrong Kate?"
I look away, "Nothing’s wrong I just… it’s hard to understand, I don’t know if you like me or not and I really like you a lot."
Kota starts to laugh and I glare at him. He then kisses my cheek. "I like you a lot too. I thought I was making that very clear the past few months." He smiles and looks at me. "Will you be my girlfriend?" I just stare at him and nod yes then press my face against his chest. "We should get back they’ll be waking up soon."
I whine and get off him. "I don’t want to walk anymore, carry me." He laughs and gets on his knees, I jump on his back and he starts walking back to our campsite.
"Aw did Katie hurt herself again?" I glare at Josh and shake my head 'no' getting off Kota’s back.
"Kota, Josh, come play football with me and Aaron." Ben then threw the football at Kota. I looked up and smiled, waving bye. Then Ashley, Lindy, and Sophia all came walking over to me.
"Spill everything! I saw you two swimming last night." Sophia was now grabbing a hold of my arm jumping up and down.
"Sophia, stop trying to rip off my arm. Last night I couldn’t sleep so I went out to swim a little. I was keeping him up so he ended up joining, then this morning we went for a walk and he… asked me out!" I now had a big smile on my face.
The girls started jumping up and down and Kota looked at me and I muttered sorry and he just smiled and went back to play football. Me and the girls went to sit down next to the waterfall and talked about the boys. They started to ask more about me and Kota, when Kota came and sat behind me pulling me on his lap. The girls stopped and looked at him. "By all means ladies keep talking, don’t let me stop you." Then the boys came to join all of us.
I stood up and went to swim, soon after everyone joined. I swam over to Kota then wrapped my arms around him. He turned around and smiled at me; I wrapped my hands around his neck and instantly pressed my lips against his. He moved my legs to wrap around his waist and started kissing me back. Then Josh splashed water at us and yelled at us to get a room.
As the sun slowly started going down, we got out of the water and went to fix sandwiches. I made my sandwich, grabbed a bag of chips and a Coke and sat down next to the fire.
"So I have some great news to tell you guys." Ashley looked at all of us to see if we were listening to her. We all looked at her. "Aaron and I are getting married!"
"Oh my, that’s so exciting! Can I please make your cake? Please!" Sophia gives her a puppy dog pout face.
"Ha, yes of course you can. Will you and Katie be in my wedding?"
"Well duh!"
I smile and nodded yes. She and Sophia started talking about the wedding, while the boys told scary stories. I got up and told everyone night. I went to the tent and changed into my pjs. Kota came and while saying night to the others, I poked my head out and said goodnight. I looked up at my handsome new boyfriend.
He unzips his sleeping bag and lays it out like a blanket and does the same with mine, then gets between the two and lifts the sleeping bag up. I lie next to him and he sits up and takes his shirt off, then moves to lie on top of me. He presses his lips against mine and I kiss him back as he slowly slides his tongue into my mouth. Wrapping his arms around my back and flips over so I’m on top, then moves his hands under my shirt and rubs my back. "Goodnight beautiful, sweet dreams." I yawn and he softly hums a song to me as I drift asleep.

"Kota, Josh, come play football with me and Aaron." Ben then threw the football at Kota. I looked up and smiled, waving bye. Then Ashley, Lindy, and Sophia all came walking over to me.
