Is God Real?
Have you ever asked yourself the question, "Is God real?" Of course you have. Regardless of what your faith is, you have at some point in your life questioned your own beliefs and wondered if there really was a God.
Personally, I don't know if God exists, and I am Agnostic. Agnostic doesn't mean Aetheist, it isn't a religion at all. Agnositc simply means I don't know what's out there, if there is a God or if there isn't. I'm open to all possibilities. I'd like to think there is one, but lack of evidence has put me in a strange spiritual floatation. I'm just stuck in the middle.
On one hand, we exist. The universe exists, humanity exists, and natural cycles seem to suggest intelligent design at times. But with the pros, come the cons. People die everyday when they don't deserve it, they suffer, their prayers often go unanswered. And as far as Christianity goes, I have many problems with the Bible. One example is homosexuality; I have gay friends and I don't see anything wrong with it at all.
I guess my biggest problem with religion is that it doesn't make sense to me. I don't see God, I've never felt God, and there has never been any kind of "click" inside me to make me feel any different. I actually don't know if I ever will have any kind of faith. I respect all faiths and religions, I am open-minded to the core, which could be the cause of my Agnostic mindset. To me, it's just natural to be this way.
