All these cookie recipes are very easy to make and are absolutely delicious to have during any time of the day - be it as an accompaniment with the morning milk or the afternoon tea break!

Irish Shamrocks

The shamrock is a symbol of Ireland and a registered trademark of the Republic of Ireland. In case you don’t know the shamrock is a three-leafed old white clover and hence these shamrock cookies have an authentic Irish touch. These shamrock cookies not only taste delicious but also look very cute with the green sprinkles and shamrock shaped cookies!

Ingredients
  • Sugar – 1 cup
  • Softened Butter – ½ cup
  • Beaten eggs –2
  • Milk –1/2 cup
  • Vanilla Extract – 1 teaspoon
  • Baking powder – 1teaspoon
  • All purpose flour –1 cup
  • Green Sugar Sprinkles
Directions:
  • First of all mix the butter and sugar thoroughly.
  • Add the eggs, milk, vanilla extract and baking powder.
  • Mix the ingredients well to form a homogenous liquid.
  • Now, it is time to add the flour. Make sure that the flour has been sifted and has no lumps in it.
  • Slowly add the flour and keep on stirring. Add flour until you get a consistency that is easy to handle.
  • Now roll the dough and sprinkle it with sugar sprinkles.
  • Use a shamrock cookie cutter to cut out the cookies.
  • Bake the shamrocks at about 350°F until the cookies turn golden brown.
Irish Lace Cookies

Well, this one’s another traditional Irish cookie recipe, which is easy to make, looks appetizing and is extremely easy to make. With crunchy rolled oats and the goodness of honey and milk, this recipe is a delicious and healthy snack! Easy to make Irish lace cookies are a must try for all you baking

Ingredients
  • Softened Butter – ½ cup
  • Multipurpose Flour – 1 cup
  • Honey – 1 tablespoon
  • Brown sugar – 1 tablespoon
  • Multipurpose flour – 1 cup
  • Vanilla Extract – 1 teaspoon
  • Milk – 2 tablespoon
  • Rolled Oats - 1 cup
Directions:
  • First of all you need to grease and flour the baking sheets and keep them ready.
  • Now blend the butter, sugar and the honey.
  • Then add the vanilla extract and stir in the milk.
  • Mix the ingredients well and now add the flour and rolled oats.
  • You batter is ready, now drop the batter using a tablespoon onto the prepared baking sheets.
  • Make sure you leave enough space between two cookies so that there is enough space for cookies to spread.
  • Now, bake until the cookies flatten and look golden brown.
  • Let the cookies cool to room temperature before serving.
  • Store in an airtight conditioner to preserve the crispiness of the lace cookies.
