Iris (7) - An End

he screamed in pain for three days straight, sometimes he would try to keep the pain back but Iris knew that he only did that for her… she laid by his side throughout the entire process… promising herself that she would never sit and watch him go through this much pain ever again…

Iris had watched his features change and felt the cold creeping down his arm, his face seemed to change from wrinkly stuff to stone cold marble his eyelids developing purple rings and although on the first night his breathe had began to stink now when he screamed Iris smelt nothing but the cold sweet scent that came of vampires.

When he finally opened his eyes he was hungry, and being stronger then Iris thought he would be, he ran to the next house and sucked an entire family dry, Iris saw agony in the victims eyes and could feel the veins shrivel painfully as they became abnormally dry, but although they leaded she did nothing but watch like the monster she was.

Iris wanted to be romantic with Justin she wanted to go out and do couple things but it was apparent in everything that Justin did that he wanted o go out and find Gerald (he had been briefed about everything through out there fist day) they had gone to a small town just after the hut were Justin had been changed, booked into a five star hotel and for the first time in her life Iris had sex willingly and it didn’t hurt, nothing hurt at all as he touched her she just felt pleasure going into more and more…. Until Justin had to loosen her grip around him before he died of exhaustion.

They went shopping, Justin always distracted and uninterested although when iris did pick up shoes he’d just put them down again saying they had enough to carry…
When Iris actually did let go of the shoes she knew that she had to like him A LOT!

What Iris didn’t expect was the amount of girls that were now looking at Justin, he got A LOT of attention, attention he seemed to enjoy, she raised her eyebrow at him when the fifth girl that day handed him a number and he winked at her
"what" Justin said smiling like an innocent child knowing that he got caught but playing dumb anyway
"wink at another girl and I’ll show you how powerful vampires can be"
He smiled slyly picking Iris up for a change, but that night they didn’t have sex they fought and Justin met Iris’s every blew with his own witch was twice as powerful but Iris slowly realized as she blocked to slowly and he got a punch in again that his punches weren’t as powerful as Gerald’s… but like many things Iris blocked that thought out she would never allow Justin to get hurt again never ever ever…..
Justin noticed iris was distracted when she didn’t get up immediately he put a knife to her throat jokingly
"guess I won"
Iris smiled
"dam, your just to good!" he smiled realizing the sarcasm he slid the knife down her shoulder pricking Iris slightly, his eyes went wild at the sight, Iris still not use to his faster reflexes was surprised to find herself on his bed being nibbled where his knife had been…

The next day Justin pointed out several things like scents that weren’t human and that night when they walking hand in hand, down the dark empty streets, Iris could feel something watching her, only to find a beggar in front of her… he smiled at her with hands open and suddenly he was dead.
Iris mourned him that night…

After two days they realized that Gerald was purposefully playing with them they’d go to there room and his scent would be so strong that they thought he was there and suddenly it was gone…
Iris wanted out, she wanted to run away with Justin… but Justin wanted to fight so they waited…
Another two days of jumpiness and Iris was fed up with Justin they had fought so much over the past few days… but Iris knew she loved him and accepted his need for action... she blocked out the idea that he may die… he couldn’t die….

Gerald was just a shadow as they walked down a street or a stranger or maybe it was there imagination… Iris couldn’t take it anymore…

Iris was beyond scared… Justin on the other hand was as calm as the oceans… he kissed her head, as he caught her before she walked around nervously for the 7th time. He held her tightly for a second then picked her up, placing he on the coach below him, giving her gentle butterfly kisses when she was unnecessarily looking the window… and that’s when he came, his eyes black he hadn’t fed and something told Iris that Justin would probably be his next meal... fear gripped at her

Gerald slapped Joe first slamming him against the wall and before Iris even knew there was a fight. Gerald had thrown Justin down a 7 story building, she jumped for Gerald’s arms but he threw her of as easily as dust on a dirty wall, Gerald was already climbing out the window seeing Justin clinging to a ledge 5 stories down Justin jumped down running to a more secluded spot Iris and Gerald right behind him, finally Justin stopped turning and punching Gerald who was right behind him Gerald flew back a good 10 k’s before he whizzed back with his super strength to grasp Justin, both there teeth were descended…

But Gerald had the upper hand although he hadn’t eaten in a week or so, he was older more powerful and had had many fights in the past he slammed Justin to the ground as he came up to Gerald for the fifth time, Iris tried to Catch Justin as he fell but Gerald had her removed…

he threw her against a wall in the distance, were she could still see the fight but straight after that he had a poll slam into her it went right threw her chest and into the wall perfectly…

Iris felt sick pain seared threw her so much from all directions that her brain kindly switch of her pain nerves, Justin looked at Iris his eyes furious he started fighting stupidly just wanting to hurt Gerald for what he had done.
Justin was beginning to bleed Gerald hardly had any marks n him Justin finally kicked Gerald in the balls getting on top of him and punching him but he slipped and in that second Gerald was on top of him pounding harder then Justin ever could..
Justin screamed in pain and Iris could not take it any longer…

as Justin’s arm was wrenched completely of his body, Iris closed her eyes and tried to move out of the poll, she made slow progress moaning in pain… but she was slowly realizing that if she did not do this.. she cringed as a splinter went into her, and as she imagined Justin burning in little pieces with Gerald laughing… She promised!! … Justin would not win… this would not be a fairy tale… she finally got out of the poll she would not look back at the blood she had left behind, she knew that she didn’t have much time but she sank to the floor anyway, crawling for a bit then as Justin moaned in pain as he tried to swing a punch and Gerald grabbed his arm Iris weakly got up with trembling footsteps she walked up to Gerald separating the fight.

both stared at her watching her bloodshot eyes and surprised at the amount of blood… while Gerald looked at her Justin tried to Punch him but Gerald was fast to he slammed Justin to the nearest wall…

She sighed… making her final decision, She looked at Justin, he looked deformed his stomach in and she knew that one more blow would have Gerald in his tummy for all to see, tearing him apart easily… she looked at Justin for a long time… just enjoying looking at him, then turned to Gerald who looked like a dirty boy who had merely played outside and fell of his bike… Iris then walked up to him slowly putting her arms around him and kissed him in a way that she had never kissed him before to Gerald the kiss was like yes you won me, take me forever… to Iris it was like leave him alone you can have me, If this was a movie Justin would have used this as a distraction and killed Gerald… but he couldn’t… Gerald was powerful and skilled, he could easily deflect anything… in real life Iris had just bought him his life… and taken away the love and happiness in it… Justin watched for a moment… he then walked away… Gerald didn’t pursue him and Iris never came back.
