Investment in India - Outrun Returns

To invest in India is much different scenario than to its neighboring countries and substantially wider fields, sectors to invest in. Unlike to south East Asian countries that largely depend on exports and international tourism like Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore and unlike to Middle East countries that largely depends on oil whereas India maintains fairly large varieties and choices of sectors, services to invest in from Information Technology, Real estate to Retail sector with strong domestic populace along with growing domestic consumption.

Prejudiced or common belief that India’s competence is in service industry and that of China is in manufacturing as India has always been compared with China in terms of investment atleast by global companies because of its manpower, intellectual human resource, superb infrastructure it can provide. Due to property boom as well growing real estate investment in India, manufacturing industries in India have scaled and have global competence which is not in case of china. Indian manufacturers in cement, steel are among the lowest cost producers in the World over the last five to six years.

India as a developing country is susceptible to global economic and geo-political developments; share market is a big example of same as figures has been doubled in Indian stock exchanges to what it were a year before or so and that’s too despite of all the mishaps happening in world’s economic and political scenario. Most recently, India Real Estate News is spreading all across the globe in parallel to investment in same, commercial or housing.

Investment in India is wiser not only mere of feel good factor that is apparent but because of much stronger economy, flexible policies, recent reforms by Indian government for foreign direct investment, FDI. The opportunities India is throwing at investors as well as non residents Indians abroad as even NRI investment in India has been noticed in past years, a lot of NRI money went to projects in India and being set up. Putting all these things every one wants to be part of this "India story".
