Gold have been skyrocketing in price lately. The dollar has been losing value and inflation is is on the rise. Stockmarkets and real estate prices have fallen all over the world. Gold on the other hand has had a remarkable rise these last few years. Going from $350 US an ounce in 2002 to over $1000 US an ounce.

During times of recession and uncertainty Gold has always served as a store of wealth and safety. Governments from all over the globe have created stimulus packages to help there struggling economies. They have all turned on the printing presses and printed billions of paper notes. All this printing devalues the currency even further and inflation goes up.

Gold the original currency thats been used for 1000s of years cannot be printed out of thin air hence why its a true store of wealth. Governments all around the world have massive debts increasing everyday. Everyday the debts go up and more money must be printed to pay these debts. Its a vicious cycle that serves only to devalue your paper dollars. The US government as an example owes 10 trillion dollars currently and its growing everyday.

What does this mean for Gold prices? Well generally the more paper money being printed the more it devalues and the more people choose to invest in Gold instead which is a real solid currency.

What is current Gold price forecast?
