Interview Follow-up Letter Sample
If you have just given an interview, then it is important that you send out a follow-up letter. The sample letter given in this article will help you understand why such a letter is necessary and how it needs to be drafted.

Most articles on job interview tips will tell you that after an interview, while sending out a follow-up letter, it is important to thank the person for taking time out of their busy schedule. A follow-up letter is also a great way of reinforcing why you would be the best person for the job. If at the interview you were asked to provide references and you were unable to do the same, then you could provide the same in the follow-up letter. In this article we give you both, a template and a sample.
Interview Follow-up Letter Template
In every formal letter writing exercise, the basic format remains more or less the same. This remains true for follow-up letters as well. A follow-up letter will always include details like the writer's name and address, the addressee's name and address, the subject of the letter, and obviously, the content. The content of a follow-up letter and a job interview follow-up email is more or less the same. The difference that you will notice in an interview follow-up email template and a letter template is that the former does not include details like the address. The other difference is that in an interview follow-up email, subject will be included in the subject line that is demarcated by the email service provider.

Also mention that your interview has reinforced this belief in you. In the last paragraph mention how you are looking forward to hearing from the addressee about the decision that they make.
