Webmasters who are now on the web work overtime, researching, and building trust, which enables them to sell on the Internet.

They know success does not come overnight. They have to work hard, be persistent, teachable, research. They have to make the effort and a little bit of cash helps.

If you intend on making a living on the Internet start out part time. The failing rate on the Internet is over 94 percent, mostly because they buy into the MLM Marketer that promises all you have to do is join as a paid member.

In your dealings with others, make sure you have proper disclosures as required by law. To be an effective marketer, don't be untruthful, make false, misleading statements. Further remember you are responsible for statements made by the MLM marketer if you are an affiliate selling for them. You too could be charged and fined along with the MLM you are promoting.

Even if you find a MLM that is not a "ponzie" in disguise, there still is a big drawback. The URL you are given to promote with is long and ugly. Very few persons will click on them.

If it’s a product someone needs, they will just cut off your code at the end and then join themselves. The person that does this just saved the commission you should have got.

Yes you can clone your affiliate code, if you know how or you could buy the script. The only script that is any good redirects when someone clicks on it. When this happens many will just click off.

For this reason I don’t bother to clone my URL’s. I use my website to built up a mailing list by publishing 2 newsletters via the website.

I intend to use my website to sell imported household products and software. Further, I can sell the same products via eBay.

You should also consider selling via eBay. They first started in 1995,and I am sure few people would have believed they would have over 157 million members worldwide today.

Thousands of persons are making a good living today selling on eBay. They give you a lot of support with free information, tools and resources. Really a great way to start on the Internet part-time, as you have control on the hours you want to spend to make it work.

What I like about eBay is you can start by selling articles, products you have around your home, which you no longer have use for. The products you sell do not have to be new, but should be in good condition.

How Do I Obtain Copyright?
Copyright is automatically acquired upon creation of original work, providing at the time the work was made the author was a Canadian citizen/or British subject/or a citizen of a country belonging to the Berne Copyright Convention/or the Universal Copyright Convention.

The work must be original, created by the author and must exist in some physical form. So long as the author doesn’t copy from someone else, the work is protected by copyright.

Is Registration Necessary?
No but it is advisable. The registration certificate can be used in a court of law to establish ownership. In countries like U.S.A., or countries that require registration under the conventions mentioned about all copies of your work must be marked with a small c in a circle, the name of the copyright owner, and year of first publication.

Generally speaking copyright in Canada exists for the life of the author plus 50 years. There are other important exceptions. Check with your copyright office.

PUBLIC DOMAIN
There are many books, movies, newspapers that are in Public Domain. These are no longer cover by copyright and can be used by anyone, fully, or changed to suit the new author.

For example every issue of any magazine, who’s copyright was not renewed in the U.S.A. between the years of 1923 and 1964 becomes Public Domain. Records show only about 1,500 ever renewed their copyrights. Every issue of any magazine whose copyright was not renewed in the 28th year of first publication is now Public Domain.

It may be noted that in the U.S.A. I believe all newsletters, information flyers, plus other material produced by the Government can be copied. In Canada Government works are copyright by the Government and can’t be copied.

SOMEONE HIJACKED YOUR INTERNET EXPLORER
To fix the search hijack, open Internet Explorer and go to Tools, Internet Options, Programs tab. You will see a listing of some of your Internet services. Look past those and in the bottom left hand corner, there is a button that says "Reset Web Settings." Click that and the registry keys will be renewed. Click OK when you're finished.

To fix the homepage problem, you have to disable some scripting within your browser. In Internet Explorer, go to Tools, Internet Options, Security tab. Make sure the Internet icon is highlighted and click on the Custom Level button. Scroll down to the Scripting area and choose the Disable option under both the "Active scripting" and "Scripting of Java applets" choices. Then click OK twice.

DROP SHIPPERS
You can get products to sell via eBay or/and your website by using the services of a drop shipper. A reliable drop shipper will not ask you for a fee. They will allow you to copy pictures of the products they sell. Prices are about half you would pay for retail.

If you have a website they will allow you to move any listing on
their site to yours. You set your price on the product/s you transfer. When an order comes in place the order they will ship it out for you under your shipping label and not include any of their material.

A good way to promote is join as an affiliate, transfer a couple specials onto your site, with a link back to your affiliate page.
