Intangible

So close but untouchable like a haunting ghost…
I miss you
how my lips wish to kiss you
to far away to touch
need you so much

Though I'll wait a hundred years
floating on silent tears
I’ll find a way to make it through
So you can find the trust in me a new
like I’ve held my faith in you

I have no way to make you go or stay
because I can't move in you
can't prove to you
I will not stray

So I'll sit here waiting slowly
meditating, contemplating
when you went away
how I died that day
for you did I silently pray
my greatest price to pay
first and last love to this day
