Mark holes for a door and windows. Use ¾ inch plywood for a solid base, and 3/8 inch for the walls and roof. Measure and mark the wood by using the pattern pieces. Cut the wood as per the measurement, using a circular saw. You would then need to cut out the windows and the door. Sand the edges and borders smooth. Use gum to join the walls to the base, to each other, and also to the roof. You finally need to paint it in the color you want.

How to Build Doll Furniture?

You can easily make dollhouse furniture for the toy house, using dollhouse furniture kits. These kits contain parts that have to be assembled to make the complete set of toy furniture. They also come with instructions which enable you to easily build the furniture. Some kits have pre-cut wooden pieces and parts that fit together to form the furniture set, whereas in others you would need to stick the pieces together. You need to give the furniture a finished look by applying a coat of wood paint. Once this is done, you may add the accessories that come along with the kit, such as dresser drawers, knobs and handles for the doors, and keyholes for trunks. You eventually need to assemble the main pieces together to form the dollhouse furniture set.

You can also use some common things present in your home for making the dollhouse furniture. Such things include empty cheese boxes as beds, matchboxes as drawers, hairspray lids as trash cans, and plastic stands placed on pizzas as tables.
