Observe the way your child behaves when he is with his friends and bring to his notice - any flaws or mistakes made by him. Use simple and polite language yourself, as children tend to imitate people around them. Teach him, by giving instances how loyalty, compassion and wholeheartedness is good for all people. Cleanliness habits, nondiscrimination, importance of unity, principles of modesty and giving due respect to elders are some more values, which you need to teach children at a very young age.
