• Screw the air conditioner tightly to the window sill.
• Use foam to insulate the air conditioner from the window sill. This also prevents the cool air from the window air conditioner, from flowing out of the room.
• Finally, pull down the windows and fix them tightly, so that the air conditioner is properly secured.

When installing window air conditioners, a few other things should also be kept in mind, like it is always advisable, to tilt the air conditioner slightly, so that there is a proper drainage of water.
