Innocence
I want to be a kid all over again
Maybe then I won't have this feeling of being broken to vein
Shattered and confused to the roots
Trying to find a way back to who I used to be
Where I miss the feeling of being daddy's small girl
And be that child who plays in the sand and rain
Not having anything to carry on , on her shoulders
Innocence were lost where only agony painted on
So Hide your face from adultness for it won't get you too far
But makes you lose more of your life
Your soul ages and you are still young
Just because of what you've witnessed that you are falling down
Your perspective doesn't matter anymore
Walk with the flow
Life is a freedom yet it's a test
You better pass it and not fail
Otherwise what have you been living for?
But to gain heaven in the end of this road
I want to hug you and hold you tight
And never let go once you are mine
Am I insane or thinking right?
To be so into you with knowing that it won't work out?
I wish I would have an answer and let my heart rest instead of mend
It's hard not to move on when you know the dead line
When you know that your heart is his to have and hold
And that your life is not yours to rule
But deep inside you know
That you are meant to live on
And smile to the person next door
For who knows that may be a stranger who passes by you
Could be that person who makes your heart smile
And who may meant to be called your "soulmate"
Maybe then I won't have this feeling of being broken to vein
Shattered and confused to the roots
Trying to find a way back to who I used to be
Where I miss the feeling of being daddy's small girl
And be that child who plays in the sand and rain
Not having anything to carry on , on her shoulders
