Inner Demons
I was making a plan of future stories/poems that I was going to do.. And a poem was stuck in my head, I wrote it down. And this is what I got.
I hear voices, they're laughing at me
I turn around, no one is there, but how can that be?
I'm sure someone was following me..
I continue going, but the voices aren't stopping..
"Stop it!" I scream, but the voices keep following me!
Surely it is only my imagination fooling me
It feels as if I'm laughing at myself..
Oh, it is only me!
My inner demons are laughing at me!
Well they can keep on laughing, cause I'll prevail.
I will not fall into their shadowy veil.
The voices stopped..
"That's right!" I yelled in my head
"It'll be I who shall prevail!"
