Now dry the skin with a soft towel and apply a cream containing lactic acid and aloe vera. The aloe vera will soothe and protect the skin and the lactic acid will soften the skin. If after exfoliating the area, you find that the ingrown pubic hair has not emerged from under the skin and is still trapped in, then you will need to apply a warm compress. Just moisten a hand towel in hot water and place it over the ingrown hair in the pubic area. Leave the compress on for about two minutes and then insert a sterile needle to gently lift and then free the trapped ingrown hair. Apply an antiseptic cream to avoid any inflammation and/or infection to the area.
