There are only a few more types of pain that are as annoying as the infected tooth pain. Though infected toot extraction is painless and it is performed in order to relieve the person from toothache, there are chances for the person to have pain after the extraction of the infected tooth, for numerous reasons. One of the biggest reasons of them all, is lack of proper aftercare of the tooth extraction.

Aftercare and Precautions

Small blood clots are formed there in place of the infected tooth after extraction, that can cause a lot of trouble and pain after extraction of infected tooth. There are some precautions that are needed to be taken to avoid dry sockets. Taking all the precautions to stop the blood flow after extraction and taking proper prescribed medications are the two basic things. Later, avoiding foods that require had biting, having liquid diet, keeping the area of the tooth extraction as clean as possible, etc. are some of the easiest things that could be done to hasten tooth extraction healing time.
