Inexpensive Organic Cleaning Products

Simple old-fashioned cleaning with organic cleaning products. Yes, you can stop buying all of those expensive cleaning products and replace them with natural products that effectively do the job and without the worry of a cocktail of chemicals.
Did you know that you can get rid of all those all purpose cleaners, anti-bacterials, bleaches and yes, even drain and oven cleaners and replace them with organic cleaning products.

There really are simple natural cleaning products that can do all of these jobs, with less expense to your hip pocket and definitely less chemical nasties around you and your family.

It is estimated that most households in industrialized nations have (at least) 20 cleaning products, which is about 5 times more than we actually need.

An alarming result from a study undertaken by the EPA (Environment Protection Agency) over the last 17 years, found that women who work in the home have a 54% higher death rate from cancer, than those who don't. Over 150 chemicals used around the home are associated with allergies, cancer, psychological disorders and birth defects.

Advertising tells us that the more we clean with anti-bacterial wipes and sprays that the cleaner our home will be. In actual fact we are exposing ourselves to a cocktail of chemicals,
increasing our risk of asthma, allergies and skin disorders, not to mention killing all of the 'good' bacteria that actually help our immune systems to protect our bodies.

Simple organic cleaners like pure soap, white vinegar, and bicarbonate of soda are not detrimental to the environment, cheap and easy to obtain, and most importantly not harmful to our health.

They were successfully used for years by our grandmothers before the boom in synthetic chemicals of the 1950's. More and more households are returning to tried and true cleaners over modern alternatives containing chemicals which may or may not be toxic to us.
