India Heat Wave: Sizzling Temperatures Continue
The heat wave in parts of India continued with places likes Morena getting pounded with 120.56 °F (49.2 °C) of heat.

Morena in Madhya Pradesh was sizzling hot at 120.56 °F. This unimaginable kind of heat forced people to stay indoors to avoid the extreme heat outside. Forest officials scampered to save India's pride, the peacock, by placing earthen pots filled with a mix of water and lifesaving drugs, to make sure the creatures survive the harsh heat.
Other places in India which were on fire were Sriganganagar 118.58 °F, Brahmapuri 117.86 °F, Wardha 117.5 °F, Hisar and Churu 117.32 °F, Vidarbha and Bikaner 117.14 °F, Barmer 114.8 °F, Jaipur 114.08 °F, Ludhiana 113.36 °F, Amritsar and Jaisalmer 111.92 °F, Karnal and Jodhpur 110.12 °F, and Ambala 109.94 °F. Even the country's capital Delhi was burning at 110.12 °F, with the minimum temperature stuck at 86.36 °F.
Met officials said that the temperature in most places in the country is nearly 10 to 15% above normal, the highest in more than 52 years. Humidity was ranging between 29 and 62 per cent. More than 100 people have lost their lives in this heat wave in India, along with essential crops being affected, especially wheat.
