Incubus - Chapter Six

For the next two days Casbell was on some sort of rampage. He wouldn't talk to me nor look at me without thinking something violent towards his maker. I was waiting under a tree for him the next morning before school started and he was late in getting there. When he finally got there I was amazed to find him not in all black. Today his hair was messed up. He was wearing a pair of jeans with holes in them, and a dark blue t-shirt. He came up to me and kissed me. "Did you sleep well last night?"

I shrugged. "Pretty much I did. I had no dreams about Lucifer. Did you go down there and chat with him?"

He shook his head, "No I haven't had the time. I did however, give one of his messengers a message and tell him that he had better stop invading my mate's dreams before I invade his and do something more serious than sexual relations."

He was being pretty serious and at that moment I wanted him. I went up to him and whispered. "Can you meet me in the gym bathrooms in about ten minutes?"

He knew what I wanted and he nodded a smirk playing at the corners of his lips. He loved it when I was like this I could tell. Ten minutes later I was waiting for him in the girls restroom. He came in and met me in the handicapped bathroom at the end of the stalls. He opened it up and flew into my awaiting arms. He pushed me up against the wall and jammed into me. He whispered into my ear, "I never tire of you..."

And the truth was, I never tired of him either. When we were done he went to third period and I went into the lunchroom. When school was over I went out to my car and waited for him to get there. He looked into my eyes and said, "Trudy Gowens asked me out today. Last period before the bell rung. I thought she was going to attack me or something so I told her no I couldn't and wouldn't date her. She got mad at me and threw a book at me when we were at the lockers. She's a bitch! Is this the human feeling of hatred?"

I laughed and nodded, "Yeah more and likely. Look, she's watching us right now." He came to me and wrapped his arms around my waist. He drew me against him and kissed me deeply. He tore his mouth from mine and let his lips travel down to my neck. He kissed me passionately leaving passion marks on the side of my neck. I moaned and he withdrew finally, "I think maybe we need to find somewhere else to go." I nodded and he and I got in the car. I drove to a secluded spot near our public library. It was behind some bushes. He pulled my mini skirt up revealing the blue thong I wore. Pulling it off he threw it on the floor of the car. He undid his zipper. After we were done, I put on my clothes only to land in his arms one more time. When I got home I felt totally fulfilled but drained.

I went in and he talked to my dad while I helped mom with dinner. We ate dinner with them and headed to my room to do some homework. Our homework got done between making out and making love. Then finally Casbell left and went to his own apartment across town. I went to get my pajamas on and headed to bed. Once in my dreams I spotted Lucifer in it. He came to me and was walking around the bed. He took off the black shirt he wore and then his boxers. I looked down and gasped. I fell back onto the bed and started to squirm trying to get away from him. I knew what was about to happen.

Suddenly he had me in a death grip and looked into my eyes, "I want your soul for my own...or why would I have you? I can win over him Ana, just as easy as he can come in and pretend he really loves you. Look at you...look at the girls he has access to. Do you think he's really going to want you forever? When he can have one of them?"

He toyed with my mind and I knew his game. He passionately caressed me and I felt tears slide down my cheeks. They were hot and wet. I closed my eyes, which was the only control I had left of my body. I called out Casbell's name over and over hoping he would come and wake me up. Hoping for some sign that he wouldn't have left me to Lucifer. Suddenly I felt as though someone were shaking me violently. I was thrown out of the dream and into reality again.

Casbell shook me and I looked at him, "How did you hear me?"

He smiled and looked into my eyes, "I can always hear you. You are just within reach of me always...but from now on we're going to speed this little wedding deal up. I now know what Lucifer's intentions are. He told my friend Astaroth that he wanted you for his bride. It's been thirteen centuries since Lucifer took a bride and I will be the first one to prevent him from having one this time too." He took a small velvet box from his pocket and held it out. He opened it revealing a rather large diamond engagement ring.

"I've had it for a while but I didn't want you to feel pressured of being engaged right now. But I have no other choice, Ana. I want you as my own and tonight I will ask you as a mortal and immortal. Will you be my wife? Will you walk with me forever?"

I looked down at the sparkling diamond and knew it was mine for the taking. I smiled softly and nodded, "Yes I will be your wife."

Tears brimmed my eyes and the ring was on my finger. He looked into my eyes and kissed me. He wiped the tears away and held me close. Still in the back of my mind I heard those tiny words from Lucifer, could he be with me forever?
