In The Time It Takes...
Time is short and much can happen in a short amount of time.
In the time it takes to turn around,
not a caring soul be found.
The ones you love are said and gone,
it seems that no where you belong.
The feeling comes of isolation,
combined with thoughts of desolation.
Standing tall but all alone,
through the pain your truth is shown.
In the time it takes to breathe a breath,
somewhere close, another death.
One more lost to violence,
not a chance to pay repents.
The sins of all not yet repaid,
in the soil they are laid.
Doomed to roam the ancient world,
where all life's mysteries are unfurled.
In the time it took to read this rhyme,
another life ran out of time.
Take this as an after thought,
to all the evil you have wrought.
For if you wish to roam alone,
do not let the truth be shown.
But if you wish to leave in peace,
all this violence needs to cease.
not a caring soul be found.
The ones you love are said and gone,
it seems that no where you belong.
The feeling comes of isolation,
combined with thoughts of desolation.
Standing tall but all alone,
through the pain your truth is shown.
In the time it takes to breathe a breath,
somewhere close, another death.
One more lost to violence,
not a chance to pay repents.
The sins of all not yet repaid,
in the soil they are laid.
Doomed to roam the ancient world,
