In The Tears Of Dreams

To cry would be the relief
To relieve the pain I carry each day
And all I remember is the words you say
You tell me you love me
But I can still feel
That something missing within my heart

Because each day I say goodbye
And good night when we depart
If I had a dream
I would dream only of you
The day you would take me away
And I would become part of you

And as a bream must go on
I realize that I am selfish
I'm asking for to much
I know I can never have you
I can only have your touch
To cry the storms of pain

I wished I could
The relief I need
When push comes to shove
As all dreams come to an end
At least I can say that I have loved
But never will I again.
