The lights inside have all gone out.
Leaving me alone to all my doubt.
Dark and quiet is all but fine.
Lonely thoughts go though mind.
You're not here to guide me through.
The days I'm sad are all but few.
When your here my life feels right.
Now you are not, no sleep tonight.

I remember our first date.
Lost my way, and i was late.
Giving in to my charm.
Never meant to cause you harm.
You were first to take my heart.
You gave back most, but kept one part.

Just for you is all I strive.
Hope for love is kept alive.

Lips that gave that precious kiss.
