Much too soon
Leaving behind sadness and gloom.
There will always be a warm and loving memory
In the hearts of your friends and family.
The world of dance
Has received quite a blow
Losing your talent and glow.
It was much too early
To say good-bye
But now heaven has a new ballet star.
And when I look up into the dark night sky
Among the stars like diamonds shining above
I know that if I look real hard
I’ll see you pirouetting across the heavens.
