In Life Everyday
This is a poem I wrote when I was really down, and it made me feel like something I wanted to do…
In life everyday
I sit here, and act like nothing is wrong with me
I’m tired of hiding it
Something happens
That makes it worse
I go home
And set there with a gun to my head
Trying to decide
What I should do, and if I should really do it
Then I go ahead, and do it
You walk in the door, and
You notice me on the floor
Then you turn around like
You saw nothing
Now your living everyday
Like you never knew anything
When deep inside you did
So now you’re happy
In life everyday
I sit here, and act like nothing is wrong with me
I’m tired of hiding it
Something happens
That makes it worse
I go home
And set there with a gun to my head
Trying to decide
What I should do, and if I should really do it
Then I go ahead, and do it
You walk in the door, and
You notice me on the floor
Then you turn around like
You saw nothing
Now your living everyday
Like you never knew anything
When deep inside you did
So now you’re happy
In life everyday
