In Autumn
How does the change of seasons make you feel?
And soon the trees will be bare.
For now we have the Autumn’s
Promise of glory – brightly colored
Leaves to bring us pleasure.
The sun’s still mellow in the sky
And the north wind doesn’t blow yet.
The trees are slowly losing their green
And soon will burst forth in colors
Of red and orange and yellow.
It always makes me sad
When glorious summer passes by
And I feel a little forlorn
Standing in the light of Autumn.
But then I see the fruits of harvest
The bright Autumn moon.
And the colored coats the trees
Begin to wear and I turn
My face toward the refreshingly cool wind
And think – Autumn’s not so bad!
