Importance of Voting

When it come down to a vote, all humans are equal. A Wall Street executive's vote counts just as much as that of a school janitor. That is the importance of voting, believing that true equality can exist. When we cast our votes we make ourselves go a step further, in order to elect a candidate who will see to it that our needs and demands are fulfilled and development does not stop or stagnate, and that with every winning candidate our lives and living gets better.

Importance of Voting Rights

The elected representatives of the people are by no means more superior or more important that the citizens. They are our agents who have been assigned the job of good governance for the people and by the people. If they fail to keep their promises or are found to be unethical in their approach towards governance then, we have the right to remind them, as to why they have been bestowed their political powers. It does happen sometimes, that the one's we elect, do not stand up to our expectations. That is the risk we have to take in order to secure our future as a nation. The significance of voting in America, allows its individuals the freedom to choose, who will form the government. Since each of the two wings have their own distinct political policies as well as way of action, it becomes imperative to vote for the people who relate and associate with your personal needs as a citizen.

It becomes important that you vote for a candidate with whom you share some similarities with. Your candidate must be able to fulfill your demands for better health insurance cover, better education and consequent loans, better employment facilities and a stronger security against both internal and external threats to democracy and life. Our voting rights give us the power to make amends for the mistakes of our past, when unstable policies were invoked, when certain sections of the society profited while the others suffered. We take these learning lessons and use them to fight back and show our unhappiness. We do this by voting for new candidates who hold completely different set of policies, one's which nullify the previous arbitrary policies and thereby bring about development for all; equally.

Why the Youth Must Vote

The youth are by far the single most important electorates of any country. They are the ones who will be filling up positions that need to be maintained, so that governance goes on. They are the people who will take up jobs that keep the nation going. If the youth do not vote then development will falter, newer dynamic ways of governance will not be able to work through. Every style of governance within democracy has its shelf life and needs to be constantly renewed and replenished with brighter minds and thoughts. The biggest contributor of these are the youths who really do and can make a difference. Every vote counts and those who do not cast their votes, deprive fellow citizens as well as worthy candidates, their due chance of making the country's domestic as well as international political policies. Policies that were meant for improving social welfare and all rounded economic growth.

The gravity and the actual long-term significance of voting must be imparted to kids from an early age. The purpose of governance must be taught to them, so that they can appreciate the difficulties faced, so as to run a nation efficiently. That is how they will truly understand the cause and effect that one single vote has on the entire election's outcome as well as their own futures. The laws made by the representatives are executed by the supreme courts of the USA. Which results in the execution of laws that; if not thought over from all angles, can cause catastrophic damage to the daily lives of the common citizens. If the laws made are too arbitrary or coercive, weak or ineffective then the electorate has to live with the consequences of having voted for the wrong candidate or having not cast their vote at all. Kids must be introduced to demo-ballots and elections, in their classrooms, as well as from the point when the study of political science begins in their curricula.

It is necessary that we understand the importance of voting, and the effects it has on the future years of the entire people as well as the functioning of the country. The wrong political policies can defame and permanently scar the image that a nation holds amongst the other countries in the world.
