Imaginative Blues

of a mother.....
Imaginative Blues
Of sleepless nights I am losing count.
Night’s sky with stars and moon do not enchant.
Bright and sunny days seem to be gloomy and dull.
This phase and patch of life seem to be lull.
Is it calm before a storm?
May it not be so, lest it will harm.
My thoughts are clouded with confusion.
Mind is preoccupied with some sort of apprehension.
Illusions are growing in magnitude.
The culprit for all these is my solitude.
No stone is left unturned to drive it away.
Proportion of time and activity is coming in the way!
Lots of leisure and least exercise are playing the game.
With responsibilities off the shoulders, life is not the same!
My youth didn’t allow time to idle and think.
Family and friends kept me afloat and not sink.
Now, children’s march has begun to succeed and shine.
Disembarking of members from my boat has left me alone.
Should I, the mother change my life’s perspective?
May be that will clear my blues, imaginative!
