I'm sorry that I did hurt you,
You know that I would never want to do u wrong,
But no matter what I seem to do,
My life was not meant to be a love song.
No laughter for this heart,
Only crying with the pain,
I always wondered how much energy it took to try to look sane.
But when you're alone,
With no sense of control,
Please know I have accepted my rejection,
It was the only thing I did with perfection.

But I was never told,
