I’m Only Yours 4

I quickly went to my bedroom, got really excited, but I wasn’t sure what to wear. I didn’t really had much friends so I had to made that decision myself. No, wait, I do have mom. I ran downstairs to her room, and found that she wasn’t there so I went to the kitchen where I could possibly find her, and I did. "Mom!!!!!!!!!!!" I called her loud enough for everyone to hear. When she looked and me and smiled like she always did, I started talking, to mom, you know, the guy that u saw yesterday…….. his name is Micheal".
"Is that what u wanted to tell me?", she asked looking surprised. I was feeling kind of shy and little odd to tell her but I knew that she would understand and help, which she usually did.
"Actually he’s gonna pick me up at 7 and we are gonna go watch a movie".
"Really?" she asked like she was really happy for me.
"Mom, can u help me decide what to wear. I’m little confused".
"Sure". Then we went to my room, and she helped me decide what to wear. At about 6:50, I was ready. I thought I looked fine. I had my hair in a ponytail which mom said looked good on me but I wasn’t sure cause I didn’t really like it that way. I didn’t care as long as I looked fine and I think I did.
"u are looking gorgeous". Mom said looking at me in the mirror. Before I could say anything, I heard someone ringing the bell. Without any doubt, I knew it was him. I quickly ran downstairs and opened the door for him. For a moment his eyes went wide, then he smiled and offered me his hand. I took it, said good bye to mom, and got into his car.
I thought he looked really handsome in his black shirt. Black seemed to suit him. Actually, no matter what he wore, he always seemed attracting to him. There was something different and special about him, which always pulled me towards him.
"Do you mind if I take u somewhere else?"
"But you told me that we were going to the movies. Where do you want to take me anyway?" I asked curiously.
"You will see", that was all he said and showed me his smile. I knew that he wasn’t gonna do anything wrong. I had somehow started trusting him. "Do you trust me?" he asked like he was reading my mind.
"Do you like know how to read people’s mind?"
"I think I do. At least, with you".
I was staring at him so badly that I didn’t really heard when he said something. "what? what did you just say?" He smiled.
"I am just waiting for a response".
"What? I’m sorry but I think I did not heard you".
"I was just waiting for a response to the question which I had asked u earlier. Do you trust me?" I didn’t knew what to say. In a way I did trust him but I didn’t wanted to trust him cause I didn’t wanted to end up everything like my mom did. "since you know how to read my mind, I’m sure you will figure this out by yourself and you don’t need my help".
"I do but I want to hear it from u".
Then suddenly before I could say anything, suddenly a van came and blocked our way. Micheal seemed really mad, got out of the car, and started yelling at them. I was really shocked to say or answer anything. There seemed to be a gang inside the van, they got out and started laughing.
"He has no idea who he’s dealing with", one of the skinny guy of the gang started saying.
"Can you guys excuse us, so we could go……" Micheal was cut of by another fat guy of the gang, who seemed to be like the leader guy of the gang.
"We? Who else is with you?" I was really afraid, and Micheal told me to stay inside. I could not really hear anything, but they somehow seemed to be fighting. I was getting more and more afraid but I needed to know what was going on, so I decided to get out of the car and see what was going on. When I stepped out, I saw Micheal fighting with the member of the gang. 3 guys seemed to be laying on the floor where as the other 3 were upon him. When Micheal saw me, he started saying, "run….." I didn´t wanted to leave Micheal alone. I wish there was something I could do to help him but there was nothing I could do.
"I can’t leave you", I said it really slowly.
"You gotta" he could hardly speak. When I wasn’t willing to go, he kicked one of the skinny guy really hard, and threw him on top of the other two. He seemed really tired but he still managed to keep up this strength. He came towards me, grabbed my hand, and we both started running. We were not sure where we were going but we heard the footsteps behind us. We were running really fast, as fast as we could. When we looked ahead we only saw a forest. He looked at me, and I knew what he meant. I grabbed his hand and started running towards the forest. There seemed to be just one way, and that lead to the forest.
"Do you think that we will be safe?", I asked feeling a little scared.
"u are the one who lead me to this forest.", he seemed mad at me.
"I know. That’s cause there was no other was. I didn’t wanted to risk our lives. "
"Whatever" he seemed a little distracted.
I was little upset at myself that I lead to this jungle. I just wanted to get away from the gang and there was no other way. I now felt kind of stupid for trying to trust Micheal. When everything was okay, he seemed to be interested in me and like me, but when we are in this big trouble, she didn’t seem to care about me. I felt weird, and I was starting to feel dizzy. He, no more held my hand like he didn’t care anymore.
"what is your problem?" I asked him angrily.
"You are the one who lead us to this mess, and you are………"
"I know I am the one who lead u to this but there was no other way. Just tell me, what would u do if u were in my place?"
He remained silent for a while, then he finally answered, "I guess I kind of over reacted. I’m sorry". When I didn’t say anything, he added, "Actually I just hate forest. I guess that made me kind of over react but I won’t do it again".
"its okay", I finally managed to say.
We had no idea where we were or how to go back. There only seemed to be 1 way, just go on and on. We didn’t talk much with each other we were both distracted. Actually he was more distracted then I was. I actually liked this. This was kind of romantic place, where there was no one other then us. There was only silent tall, long trees, leaves on the floor, grass, and us. When he saw me enjoying in this jungle, he asked, "what makes u enjoy this?"
"This is a really peaceful place, and its not that bad."
"Are you serious? You are crazy."
"I want to enjoy this. Anyway there is no other way, and even if I am crazy about this, im okay with that."
There was this famous silence again but it didn’t matter to me. Everything was fine except for I was starting to feel really hungry. I had not anything after lunch, and it was probably like 9 PM, or something. I think he saw the change in me and asked, "is everything okay?"
"Um…. I’m kind of hungry."
"You are? But there is nothing to eat. Oh wait. I will go and look for something to eat".
"No" I commanded. "I mean plz don’t go. What if I got lost and…."
"You won’t. You just stay where u are and I will be back as soon as I can. Actually Im hungry too, and if we wont eat anything, we are definitely gonna die." He kissed me good bye and left me. I wasn’t sure what I was going to do next. This was no more fun, and now I was starting to get afraid. What if he didn’t return? What if he just left me here on purpose? This what ifs were killing me, so I decided to sleep. I started sleeping soundlessly on the floor. At about midnight I heard this weird sounds, which wake me up. Micheal still wasn’t back. Was he okay? I was starting to get worried for him, and for myself cause I didn’t wanted to die. I heard those weird sounds again, which made me shiver. Those sounds started getting closer and closer. I was really afraid and I decided to run, but I remember about Micheal. What if he returns but can’t find me? I didn’t wanted to get into those what ifs again. Then I heard those sounds getting even closer, I started running. I was running really hard. Usually I wasn’t that fast of a runner, but today I was running really fast. I wasn’t sure where I was going but the only thing that came into mind was run. Then I remembered about Micheal. I couldn’t just leave him here but I wasn’t even sure where he was right now.
As I was running, it started to rain. I used to love this rain but now I hated it. I hated it so much. Then I saw him. I knew that I had seen him before but couldn’t really remember where. As he came closer to me, I remembered about my past. He was Shane. Oh my goss!!! It couldn’t be him. He was the my first love. I had this big crush on him, and I couldn’t believe that he was actually here. His hair was all wet, and his eyes were still sparkling. He came even more closer to me, and said, "Tersa." I couldn’t believe that he actually remembered my name and the way he said my name, I couldn’t help but smile. We were good friends since childhood, but after high school, our life was different. He was still so cute, sweet, and so nice. I mean I just loved everything about him. Then I realized that he was saying something. "um… I didn’t heard you."
He smiled and said, "I said what r u doing here?"
"Actually I was here with Micheal. I was hungry so he went to bring some food, but never returned. I heard those scary sounds, so I started running and came here. Oh shit! He might be waiting for me there." I didn’t really tell him the whole story but I thought I will do it later, and it wasn’t really important anyway. I saw a little jealousy in his eyes, then he finally spoke.
"We could go and look for him".
"We?" I asked trying to act like I was a bit confused though I wanted him to come with me.
"Yeah. Im not gonna let u go and look for him alone. I won’t let you take that risk". He seemed to really care for me. It made me feel like I was no more alone. With Micheal, I always felt uncomfortable, or my heart started to beat faster then normal, but with Shane, I felt really comfortable.
"But why are you here?" I asked curiously and I really wanted to know.
"Only time will tell you. Lets get there before its too late.", he sounded like he was hiding something from me. Then he took my hand and we went to find Micheal.
