I'm Not Going To Give Up

Just something I wrote to someone I knew. Who had rejected me. But I’m not going to give up. Lol
Just your voice,
Makes my heart beat fast.
Your smile brings happiness
To the dark depths of my heart.
If only I had the guts…
To tell you how much you mean to me.
Your laughter is my medicine.
Your touch calms me down,
But longing remains.
Even though you said we could never be,
My heart still races after you..
Trying to forget the pain.
"Sadly, you’re too young for me"
The words stung, but I shall not give up.
For my heart needs you.
I had only let few tears fall then told myself,
I shall not give up.
