You used to be my hero,
You could save me from myself,
You could protect me from the world,
Make me feel as I've never felt.

But then you started abusing your power,
Treating me like a slave,
You thought you could just hurt me,
Whether or not I behaved.

Well, I'm not going to suffer,
Just because you want me to,

I'm not afraid,
